Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved R2 lakh each for the next of kin of those, who lost their lives due to the building collapse in Ghatkopar
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved R2 lakh each for the next of kin of those, who lost their lives due to the building collapse in Ghatkopar. The announcement was on the PM's office's Twitter handle this afternoon.
Modi has also approved R50,000 each for those injured in the collapse. The development comes a week after the incident, in which 17 people were killed, including two toddlers.
CM Devendra Fadnavis had met the residents of the building and assured strict action against those responsible for the incident.
