Following the rejection of his last plea to travel for a case hearing, gangster and 1993 Mumbai blasts accused Abu Salem has requested that he not be prejudiced against, based on news reports
Abu Salem wants to go out again. Even as the court dismissed the gangster's plea last month to travel to Delhi for a case, based on a mid-day report which exposed his previous case-related travel adventures with his girlfriend, Salem has yet again filed an application to travel to Bhopal.

Advocate's plea
Salem's lawyer Sudeep Pasbola filed an application before the court that Salem wants to travel to Bhopal for a case hearing. While filing the application, he told court that Salem should be granted the permission, as his presence is required there. He also demanded that Salem shouldn't face unnecessary prejudice because of a news report.
Judge's stand
Judge GA Sanap then posed to Salem, "Are you prepared to go on my condition?" When Pasbola asked what the condition would be, Judge Sanap said that he would be nominating the police officer to lead the escort party. Salem has agreed to the condition.

Judge Sanap then asked the CBI to file a reply on Salem's application and the matter will now be heard on Monday.
Last time, while rejecting Salem's application to travel to Delhi, Judge Sanap had considered the article published in mid-day and observed, "It seems that Salem is misusing the concession/liberty granted to him."
