It's a common belief to beware of Friday the 13th, but most Mumbaikars are not particularly worried that today is one such day.
Actor Aftab Shivdasani, whose Aao Wish Karen releases today, laughs off the unlucky tag. "No number is unlucky for creativity. A film will run if it is good, irrespective of the release date."
Agreed a racing follower, who wished to remain anonymous. "The concept of luck plays a huge part in the sport.
However, even if the racing season in Mumbai began on Friday the 13th, it would not affect officials, punters or superstitious owners."
