Four persons were detained for the murder of two sisters in the Parel area of central Mumbai, a short while after committing the crime, police said.
Pramila and Krishna Gawde, both in there 50s were found murdered at there residence in the Mitra Dham Society in Parel, police said.
The two victims were murdered using sharp instrument and the robbers had fled with jewelery and cash they found at the residence, they said.
However, a short while later four persons traveling in a taxi were stopped by police during checking and noting something suspicious they were interrogated.

On searching the vehicle the jewelery and cash robbed from the residence were found in their possession and the accused have also allegedly admitted to robbery and murdering the two sisters.
