Dr Uday Nirgudkar, an authority in IT and election analysis, has written a book on elections and his effort has been recognised by some political leaders by coming forward to publish the book.
The book educates the common voters, political parties and the politicians.
The book is entitled, 'Nivadnuk Jinknyasathi Sarvakahi'-(Everthing that is needed to win elections) will be published by politicians including former chief ministers-Manohar Joshi, Vilasrao Deshmukh, NCP state president R R Patil and BJP president Nitin Gadkari.
Addressing a press conference here today Nirgudkar said that the 200 page book which will have a total of about a dozen chapters will give all that is required about the elections and will also trace the past elections and analyse them.
He said that it will give details of the election management and the latest techniques needed for winning the elections.
He told reporters that he always had a taste for elections and submitted a thesis on the same to the Pune Univesity in 1989.
However, the university summarily rejected it stating that this cannot be a topic for the elections. He was totally depressed then and did not give up.
