Thane: The Thane Division of the Food and Drug's Administration (FDA) has inspected over 24 hotels in the last two weeks and found several lapses, a senior official said on Monday.
FDA's Thane Division Joint Commissioner (Food) Suresh Deshmukh confirmed the inspection undertaken and lapses found and said letters will be issued to these hotels asking them to take corrective steps.
Among the lapses found were non-display of the original license copy on the premises of the establishment, non-appointment of technical expert for supervision, waste and garbage not covered properly, water used for cooking not certified by proper agencies, he added.
