Vinay Panditrao Pawar (36), the nephew of retired joint commissioner of police Y C Pawar, was arrested last morning in a case of forgery and cheating. No Comments: Y C Pawar
He was nabbed with accomplices Hemant Agarwal (39) while they were forging property papers of a 392 sq ft plot in Andheri.

P Shimte said, "The police acted on the complaint of local builder Ajizor Rehman Faiz, who had claimed that the plot which Pawar and Agarwal were attempting to sell belonged to him and that they had forged papers."
Sources reveal there was tremendous pressure on the local police to not register an offence against Pawar.
Y C Pawar said, "I know about the incident, but I do not want to talk about it at this stage."
