The survivor had claimed that Paraskar had molested her in a Navi Mumbai flat and raped her in the bungalow in Malad in November 2013. The DIG had allegedly taken her there on the pretext of showing her the bungalow, where a photo shoot could allegedly be held for free.

"The accused took her in a vehicle to the Madh bungalow, where she was allegedly raped. We have identified the vehicle and it is owned by Bimal Agarwal of Techno Trade, the company that was blacklisted after the 26/11 attacks for providing poor quality bomb disposal suits. We may ask Agarwal to explain why he had given Paraskar the vehicle," said a senior police officer.
