"This is making investigation difficult as we see no strong reason for Nidhi to kill her children and commit suicide," Kakre added.

"It was our anniversary on Tuesday and Nidhi had decided not to celebrate as there had been a death in the family a few days ago.

Nidhi's father, Bimal Jalan, visited the Dindoshi police station twice yesterday, but did not lodge a complaint.
Last morning, before going to the police station, Jalan spoke with mediapersons.
"My daughter would have never done this unless pushed to her limits. I had some idea that she was not happy. I shall file a police complaint," he had said.
Asked why he did not do so, he said, "I am not feeling well. I will come back again tomorrow to file a complaint after thinking over it. I don't want any innocent people to suffer."
