A teacher herself, she believes the film reveals sensitive issues faced by school children
Amol Gupte's Stanley Ka Dabba, a film that explores various aspects of school life through the eyes of kids, has found an admirer in Satvasheela Chavan, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan's wife.

Satvasheela, a teacher herself, seemed to be moved by the character of the child-soldier who faces different odds at school and comes out victorious.
The film has struck a note with parents as it sensitively portrays different problems faced by children
in school life
Gupte recently organised a screening of the movie for Satvasheela. "Among other concerns, this movie highlighted the issue of mid-day meals and child labour.

It was heartrending to see how children deal with these issues. I hope that there are no Stanleys in our country and all children have healthy and trouble-free childhood," she said.
It is not often that Mrs Chavan, gets the time to watch movies. She teaches special children. Asked if she had watched Taare Zameen Par, another movie by Gupte, she replied, "Yes.
The movie dealt with something close to my heart and therefore I decided to watch it. As far as Stanley Ka Dabba is concerned, I hope that the state government gives a tax exemption for the movie."
Meanwhile, Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat was unavailable for comment on whether the state would exempt the movie from entertainment tax.
