A Jet Airways Dubai-Mumbai flight suffered a bird-hit shortly before landing at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on Tuesday evening, but there was no damage to the plane nor any casualty, an official said.
The captain of flight 9W 541 reported the incident while landing, following which a thorough inspection of the aircraft was carried out.
There were 110 passengers in the flight, the official from the airline said.
Five flights had to be diverted and four aborted their landing and services at the airport were affected for a while due to the bird hit.
