Gulabchand Gupta (44),u00a0 has obviously not learnt a lesson.
In the last four years, the vegetable vendor has been arrested eight times for the same crime posing as a policeman organising a kabbadi tournament at the Police Gymkhana and asking unsuspecting victims to shell out funds.
And on Sunday Gupta was arrested for the ninth time after he attempted his same old trick.
Gupta's latest arrest came after he approached an Andheri-based company for donation ranging between Rs 2,000 and Rs 10,000 to conduct the tournament.
But after the company gave him the undisclosed amount, it decided to confirm his credentials.
"We realised that Gupta had eight cases filed against him. He has taken funds from more than 12 companies.
