An ISKCON centre in Wada, which was booked after over 100 students of a Zila Parishad-run primary school at Kasa Badruk village in Palghar district fell ill after allegedly consuming the midday meal provided by it, yesterday claimed that many of the students had eaten snacks from a roadside stall, prior to the lunch.
"Our managers were told by the local people that many students ate banana wafers and pickles before having their midday meal. They bought it from a stall opposite the school. The Collector has sent the samples of these for investigation," the centre said.
