Handicapped scriptwriter has been camping outside actor's Bandra home for 10 days
Subodh Pandey has been camping outside actor Sanjay Dutt's Pali Hill home with his script for the last 10 days to persuade the star to act in his movie. And all that the handicapped Pandey has going for him is that he'd met the actor last year and discussed his film.
But so confident is Pandey of Dutt liking his script that he has dedicated the last two years to drafting the copy.
'I want a script'

Pandey (29) who hails from the district of Sheikhpura in Bihar came to Mumbai four years ago and met with Dutt last November at his home.
"At the time, I explained to Sanjayji that I had an idea to make a movie based on acceptance and he said that I should come back to him after I had finished a script," said Pandey, who is registered with the Western India Film Producer's Association. Pandey hopes that his handicap won't come in the way of his dreams, having had no use of his legs because of polio since the age of four.
No plan B
Pandey's obsession with the star began in 1994 when he watched the Dutt and Raveena Tandon starrer Zamane Se Kya Darna. In his own venture, the lead character is a man called Durga Pandey who comes to Mumbai from Lucknow in the hopes of making it big. With Dutt in the lead role, Pandey hopes to rope in Asin as his leading lady.
The fan's hopes are so great that he has no plan B if his scriptwriting dreams fail. "I'm positive that Sanjayji will like my script. I haven't thought of what I would do if he doesn't," said Pandey.
Dutt in Goa
Pandey plans to stay on the stoop outside Dutt's house until he meets the star. "I've left a message with security, but I don't know if they have passed it on to Sanjay. I can only hope and wait," he said, hoping that Dutt will return soon after poll results.
Security at Dutt's home told MiD DAY that he was in Goa for a shoot. Dutt remained unavailable for comment and did not respond to our text messages.
