Mumbai: Maharashtra government has made it mandatory for schools and colleges to provide their premises for holding the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) exams.
"It is mandatory for schools and colleges to make available classrooms for examinations held by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) to fill in various posts," a Government Resolution (GR) issued here said.
It has been observed that when a district collector seeks the premises for holding the examinations, the educational institutions decline permission. With the non-cooperation of schools and colleges, the exam time table is also hampered many a times, the GR issued yesterday said.
The government has asked Information Director of technical education, higher education, professional education and training to convey to schools and colleges that they would have to provide the premises for holding the examinations, failing which action would be taken.
