Mumbai Crime: 20-year-old Dharavi woman booked for sexually abusing minor boy

A 20-year-old woman from Dharavi has been booked under sections of POCSO Act for allegedly abusing and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy from Bihar. The woman has also filed a police complaint against the minor and his father, four uncles and a cousin for allegedly raping her.

 

NIA crackdown on D gang: Two aides of Chhota Shakeel arrested

Following the raids in Mumbai over the past two days, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two associates of the D gang having close links with Chhota Shakeel. The agency has been investigating the case registered against Dawood Ibrahim and members of the D gang this year in February.

 

Thane: Father-son booked for power theft of Rs 5.93 cr at stone crushing unit

A father-son duo has been booked for alleged electricity theft of Rs 5.93 crore in Murbad area of Maharashtra's Thane district, an official said on Friday. The irregularity came to light after a Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) team raided a stone crushing unit in Falegaon on May 5, he said.

Mumbai: Blood stain on nails gets man arrested for wife's murder

A 22-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly killing his wife in Sakinaka area of Mumbai after police found blood stains on his nails and began probing his involvement, an official said. Accused Manoj Prajapati and his wife Reema Bhola Yadav were living separately over the past two days in Khairani Road locality and a friend of the latter found her dead in a pool of blood when he reached her house this morning, the official said

Case against man for raping 2 minor girls on pretext of getting them movie roles

Police have registered a case against a man for allegedly raping two teenage girls here in Maharashtra under the pretext of getting them roles in films, an official said on Tuesday.Over the last one year, the accused allegedly took the girls, both aged 13, to a forest in Vasai area where he repeatedly raped them and also indulged in unnatural sex with them, the official from the Mira Bhayander-Vasai Virar police control room said.
