The Wadala Police has busted a gang that cheated in the name of providing jobs at the airport and in private airline companies. The police has arrested four people in this case after travelling to New Delhi for the same. They have registered two FIRs against two members and suspect that this gang cheated more than 200 people.

According to the information received from Wadala police, a 32-year-old woman lodged a complaint with the police that in the name of getting a job in the ticket-checking department of a private company at the airport, she was duped of Rs 8 lakh. During the investigation, it was discovered that the accused had called from Delhi. A 40-year-old man also filed a complaint that he had been cheated of Rs 3 lakh.

Police Inspector Ashok Ugle and his team went to Delhi and arrested a total of four people running fake call centers. A police officer told mid-day that the arrested accused used to buy fake SIM cards. The accused used to run call centers from Delhi and are residents of Bihar and Haryana.
