The arrests of two drug peddlers have led the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to unearth a Dubai connection in the drugs case linked to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The name of Sahil Shah, alias Flacko, a ‘mystery man', who has been supplying drugs to high-profile people in the city from Dubai, surfaced during the interrogation of one of the arrested accused, Ganesh Shere.

The drug cops are in the process of bringing Flacko to Mumbai. Following a tip-off, an NCB team raided a flat in Malad on Sunday night. They eventually got to know that the property was owned by Flacko. Large quantities of American drugs have been recovered from the flat.

Sources in the NCB said that none of the drug peddlers had seen Flacko, which was one of the reasons why the drug cops were finding it difficult to trace him. However, they continued investigating the case based on the clues they got from drug peddlers Abbas and Zaid. Not only this, the NCB also raided the office of a courier company in Santacruz and recovered a book in which drugs had been smuggled, a modus operandi followed by Flacko.

The NCB has arrested drug peddlers Ganesh Shere and Siddharth Amin in the matter. Sources said that Shere was preparing for the MPSC examination because he wanted to become a police officer.

Speaking to mid-day, Sameer Wankhede, joint director of NCB Mumbai said, "Sushant Singh Rajput lived in the building next to the one we raided in Malad. We have identified Flacko and he will be brought to India. Flacko used to talk to drug peddlers only through calls, because of which nobody had seen his face."
