An official on Wednesday said that the police have arrested a 35-year-old African national after seizing cocaine valued at Rs 1.02 crore from his possession in Maharashtra's Navi Mumbai township, reported news agency PTI.
Acting on a tip, the Navi Mumbai police's anti-human trafficking cell team on Monday raided a flat at a housing society in Ulve area, reported PTI.
The team seized 412 gm of cocaine from the man, hailing from Guinea in West Africa, and arrested him, the official from Panvel Town police station said while sharing an update on the Navi Mumbai crime, reported PTI.

In a significant crackdown, Navi Mumbai Police arrested 20 Nigerian nationals, including 13 women and seven men, who were partying in Kharghar area and seized Mephedrone drug with an estimated value of Rs 26.77 lakh, officials said on Tuesday, reported PTI.
Acting on a tip-off, sleuths of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC), including five police inspectors, 150 constables, personnel of the anti-riot squad and members of a forensic team, raided two food joints on Monday late at night, reported PTI.

The arrested persons were produced before a local magistrate court that remanded them to judicial custody.

Police have arrested three women and a man after seizing heroin and several stolen mobile phones collectively valued at Rs 20.20 lakh from their possession in Maharashtra's Navi Mumbai township, an official said on Thursday, reported PTI.
Acting on a tip, the police carried out raids on Friday evening at Kopra village in Navi Mumbai.
They seized 32 gm of heroin and 40 stolen mobile phones of different brands from the accused persons and apprehended them, the official from APMC police station said, reported PTI.
Three of the accused were residents of Navi Mumbai, while the fourth accused woman, a resident of Mankhurd in neighbouring Mumbai, used to supply the drugs, he said, reported PTI.
The husband of one of the accused woman and another man escaped.
The accused stole mobile phones from public places, including bus stops and railway stations, the police said quoting the information gathered during their interrogation.
They were booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the official said.
