Sandeep Nahar died by suicide at his Goregaon flat on Monday
Actor Sandeep Nahar's wife Kanchan was in another room at their Goregaon flat when the actor died by suicide on Monday. She learnt about it only after the actor's suicide note and a video went viral on social media prompting his father Vijay Kumar to call her.

"On the day of the incident, Sandeep and Kanchan had a fight. Sandeep told Kanchan not to disturb him and locked himself in a bedroom. Kanchan also moved to another room. Had she seen his viral message, he could have been saved," said his younger brother Manish.
The actor's father is a retired forest official, while his elder brother is a constable with the Haryana police. Manish is into real estate business.

Manish said his brother and Kanchan were in a relationship first and married only in August last year. The couple often had arguments, said Manish, adding that they are yet to inform their mother about his death.
Sources said the police called a doctor who declared Sandeep dead, but Kanchan kept insisting that he was drunk and had passed out. She kept arguing with the police, said a source.

Sandeep, who had worked in Sushant Singh Rajput starrer âM S Dhoni: The Untold Story' and Akshay Kumar's âKesari', put up a video and a long suicide note on Facebook before he killed himself. He said he was going through a lot of problems.
The police handed over the body to his family after a post-mortem. Sandeep's father said they are in shock and will think about filing a complaint later. "A case will be filed against the person concerned," he added.
