The narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai has launched an intensive operation against the trafficking of Mephedrone (MD) in Mumbai region and booked several similar cases since the beginning of the year 2021.
Under this drive, the anti-drug agency, on February 6, arrested notorious MD trafficker Ibrahim Mujawar aka Ibrahim Kaskar from Jogeshwari area with 100 gram of MD worth Rs 10 lakh.
Also, one Mercedes was seized in said offence. Ibrahim was using this high end car to peddle and distribute drugs to their high profile customers.
In preliminary investigations, Ibrahim disclosed that seized MD was sourced from Asif Rajkotwala of Dongri, South Mumbai.

"Swiftly NCB Mumbai team apprehended Asif Rajkotwala from Dongri, a small Quantity of Charas has also been recovered from Asif," said Samir Wankhede, NCB Zonal Director.
Ibrahim and Asif are working together for one year.
Ibrahim is facing cases of 353 IPC for attacking Police personnel and 307 IPC. He is, currently, on bail in those cases.
