The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) intercepted three persons in various places of Mumbai and seized 13.6 kg of Codeine Syrup, 230 grams of Ganja and intermediate quantity of Mephedrone on Wednesday.
According to the NCB on the basis of intelligence, sleuths raided the house of Noor Alam Noor Islam Malik at Shivaji Nagar, Govandi Mumbai and recovered 230 grams of Ganja and 10 grams of Mephedrone and intercepted Noor Alam Noor Islam Malik on April 27.
On Noor Alam Noor Islam Malik's disclosure, NCB Mumbai raided the house of Sikandar Hussain Sayyed at Shivaji Nagar, Govandi, Mumbai and recovered total 13.6 Kgs of Codeine syrup and intercepted Sikandar Hussain Sayyed and Rashid Sikandar Sayyed on April 27.
Sikandar Hussain Sayyed is a notorious drug trafficker of Govandi area. He was earlier booked in an NDPS Case in the year 2020 by Shivaji Nagar Police station and other two Criminal cases registered against him by Shivaji Nagar Police Station under sections 236 and 307 of IPC in the year 2013 & 2019 respectively.

NCB Zonal Director Samir Wankhede told mid-day, "Sikandar is an accused on record who is involved in drug business in the slum area and has been arrested."
