Two minors have been arrested by Dahisar police for allegedly stealing at least 47 vehicles including, bikes, auto-rickshaws, and sports cycles from Mumbai and Mira-Road.
During the night patrolling near Sanjay Gandhi National park, the detection staff of Dahisar police station noticed the accused acting suspiciously. When the staff reached closer, they tried to flee from the spot in an auto.
However, they were caught and brought to the police station for interrogation.
During the interrogation, both confessed to the crime.

The police have recovered 10 Autos, 20 bikes and 27 sport bicycles from various areas. Through the course of investigation, it was found out that âjoyriding' was another motive of repeated theft.
An officer revealed that one of the accused stole vehicles to impress his girlfriend by offering her rides on different kinds of bikes.
The duo, earlier, sold some of the stolen bikes and autos to various people and used the money for merriment
API Dr Chandrakant Gharge and his detection team have recovered all the stolen vehicles and have also arrested 5 accused who had purchased the stolen products from the minors.
