A garage owner allegedly stabbed a 32-year-old man multiple times after a scuffle broke out between the two over a parking space in Sion on Tuesday.
The accused, identified as Javed Chaudhari (35), was arrested. The victim, Krishna Mishra (32), sustained severe injuries and was admitted to Sion hospital.
"We have arrested the accused in an attempt to murder case. Krishna sustained severe injuries and has been admitted to Sion hospital. He was stabbed by accused in his abdomen and neck several times," said a police officer, as per a report in India Today.
According to police, Javed, who owns a garage, and Krishna live in the same area.

On January 30, a scuffle broke out between the two over a parking issue. Both had assaulted each other, following which the matter was reported to Wadala TT police station. They were freed after a warning.
However, on Tuesday, Krishna allegedly parked his car near Javed's garage, to which the latter objected. This led to an altercation between the two.
In a fit of rage, Javed went inside his garage, brought a knife and stabbed Krishna in his abdomen and neck several times,police said.
Soon after the incident, Krishna's wife filed an FIR against Javed who was arrested within 2 hours.
