The NM Joshi Marg Police have arrested a gang who used to steal only three-wheeler tempos filled with gas cylinders and sell them in the black market. Two cases are registered against this gang.
According to the information received from the police, a tempo was stolen on June 24, which had 20 cylinders. In this case, Mangilal Siyaz, 33, had lodged a complaint with the NM Joshi Marg police station on the basis of which the police was investigating the matter. During the investigation, the police came to know that a similar theft had taken place within the jurisdiction of the Tardeo police.
After this, on the orders of DCP Paramjit Singh Dahiya, senior police inspector Pratap Bhosale of NM Joshi police station formed a team to investigate the theft. While conducting an investigation, the team seized the stolen tempo from Andheri, and the accused were identified and arrested.
