Mumbai Crime: Dalip Tahil's son Dhruv arrested in drugs case

On April 20, a drug peddler Muzammil Abdul Rehman Shaikh was arrested and 35 grams of Mephedrone (MD) were seized from him. His mobile phone was also seized and his WhatsApp chats revealed that Dhruv had approached Shaikh to purchase drugs several times.

Dhruv Tahil, son of actor Dalip Tahil, has been arrested in a drugs case, stated a press release by Anti Narcotic Cell, Bandra Unit on Wednesday.

On April 20, a drug peddler Muzammil Abdul Rehman Shaikh was arrested and 35 grams of Mephedrone (MD) were seized from him. His mobile phone was also seized and his WhatsApp chats revealed that Dhruv had approached Shaikh to purchase drugs several times. He had also deposited money in Shaikh's bank account six times for the purchases, stated the release. Dhruv was in contact with the accused from 2019 to March 2021.

The actor's son was arrested on Wednesday. Further investigation is on.
