A man stabbed his former girlfriend near Botliwala road in Parel on Sunday at around 3 pm.
According to Bhoiwada police, the 37-year-old victim was attacked by Rajesh Kale (36). Kale stabbed the woman in the stomach with a knife, leaving the victim grievously injured. Kale was also injured in the attack.
Both the victim and the accused are undergoing treatment at KEM Hospital.
The victim is a resident of Govandi, while the accused resides in Kurla.

According to the police, the two were in a relationship in the past, but parted ways after a fight. Later, the woman got married and has a daughter.
Bhoiwada police registered a case under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the accused has been detained.
Zone 4 DCP Vijay Patil told Mid-day, "The injured woman has been admitted to the hospital and is undergoing treatment. During the attack, accused Rajesh Kale was also injured and is being treated at KEM hospital."
