Premji Parmare had earlier used her ID card to let people move during the Covid-19 lockdown
Angry at his mother-in-law for not sending his wife to him, an Amboli resident sent a bomb threat to the Mumbai police from her email ID. The mail threatening to blow up the city led the police to the woman's residence. Amboli police are on the lookout for the accused Premji Parmare.
According to police, Parmare married Anuradha two years ago. But she left him as he was unemployed and returned to her mother who also stays in Amboli. Whenever Parmare went to bring her back, his mother-in-law, identified only as Lakshmi, would refuse to send her daughter.
To take revenge, Parmare used Lakshmi's email ID to send a bomb threat to the Mumbai police on September 19. He was able to gain access to the account as he knew the password. In addition, he also added her address and contact details in the mail. The police traced Lakshmi's residence with the help of the details and questioned her.
On investigating further, police found that Parmare had also misused the ID card of Lakshmi, who works for a government hospital, to help people move during the lockdown. The hospital had filed a complaint and Lakshmi was arrested and jailed for four days. Lakshmi's questioning this time revealed that Parmare framed her so that he could take Anuradha home.
