An engineer attached to state-run planning authority City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) and his former colleague were held for alleged bribery by the Thane unit of the Anti Corruption Bureau on Friday, an official said.
Prakash Balakdas Mohile (57), superintending engineer and retired assistant executive engineer Sanjay Haribhau Dekate (58) were held for demanding Rs 15,000 from a contactor for clearing his bills, he said.

"Mohile had demanded the bribe and Dekate was held while accepting Rs 15,000 from the complainant during our trap in their New Panvel office. Both have been charged under Prevention of Corruption Act," he said.
