Police found several fake Louis Vuitton travel and tote bags, wallets Pic/Mumbai Police
On Friday, the Oshiwara police along with Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR) raided two shops located in Andheri's Lokhandwala area and seized counterfeit products of Louis Vuitton worth Rs 12,29,150.
The police found several fake Louis Vuitton travel and tote bags, handbags, wallets, sunglasses, leather belts, perfumes, caps, shirts & T-shirts, bracelets, and shoes, among other apparel and accessories.
According to the police, the value of the original products against the seized fake products is estimated to be over Rs 3 crores.
The Oshiwara police have seized the products from two shops named - 212 Collective and Turkey.

Three people have been arrested in the case.
"Mohammad Musharaf Ali, Mohammad Anwar Shaikh from 212 Collective, and Mohammad Ahmed Khan from Turkey have been arrested and FIR has been lodged against the accused at Oshiwara Police Station," the police official said.
Nishith Mishra, Joint Commissioner of Police, E.O.W. gave permission to conduct the raid.
"The fake products were seized with the help of a team of Police from Oshiwara police station. We are further investigating the case," the police said.
