The police said that the girl might have taken the extreme step following a scolding by her father for watching too much television. "On Monday afternoon, the girl's father, Rajkumar Chaudhari, who has a scrap business in Chikhali, scolded her for watching TV for a long time and not concentrating on studies," a police officer from the Dehu Road police station said.u00a0
