A Nigerian national was arrested today from Baga beach village in Goa for allegedly possessing drugs worth Rs 1.35 lakh, police said


A Nigerian national was arrested today from Baga beach village in Goa for allegedly possessing drugs worth Rs 1.35 lakh, police said. The accused, identified as Philip Godwin, was arrested on a tip off by Calangute Police near a lane leading to a famous night club at Baga.

Godwin was found in possession of Ganja, Cocaine, and MDMA--collectively worth Rs 1.35 lakh. He has been booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
