A laundry shop owner was allegedly stabbed to death by three unidentified persons in the Kharghar area of Navi Mumbai, police said today. Manoj Kanojia (35) was going home after closing his shop late last night when the three persons came attacked him with a knife, killing him on the spot, a police official said.
The accused then fled from the spot, he said. The motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained, he said. The body has been sent for postmortem, the official said, adding that a hunt is on for the culprits.
