A 12-year-old boy was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a dupatta in his house in Shivaji nagar on Monday. The boy has been identified as Mohammed Ali Imran Khan.
Mohammed was staying with his parents and 10-year-old younger brother in Shivaji Nagar. Due to lockdown Mohammed and his younger brother were at home and were taking online classes. Mohammed used to attend classes in the morning, while his younger brother used the same phone for afternoon classes.
On Monday afternoon, after attending his classes at around 1pm, Mohammed was playing games on the mobile phone and his younger brothers was asking for the phone as his online class was about to start. When Mohammed did not give the phone, his younger brother complained to their mother, who scolded Mohammed and snatched the phone from him. Enraged over it, Mohammed went to his bedroom on the third floor of the house.
As Mohammed didn't come down for lunch, his mother went upstairs to call him, but found the door locked from inside. She immediately informed his father Imran Khan, who broke open the door and found Mohammed hanging.
