Couple shot dead, son kidnapped in UP

A couple was shot dead by four armed assailants, who also kidnapped their 10-year-old-son in Jalalpur village, police said today.

Sukhram Singh Yadav (45) and his wife Sushma (40) were killed by the four assailants in their house last night.

The assailants then kidnapped their son Abhishek and fled from the spot.

The police is suspecting the hand of Sukhram's son Manish from his first wife behind the incident.

Superintendent of Police Shalabh Mathur said police has launched a manhunt to nab the assailants. u00a0
