After rattling the Mumbai suburbs, the vaccination scam has reached Navi Mumbai, where the 11th FIR was registered in the vaccination scam case. The Turbhe police said that the arrested accused, Manish Tripathi, gave fake vaccines to 352 people at a private office in Navi Mumbai.
Tripathi had approached Kalpesh Padmakar Patil, an employee at Atomberg Technology at TTC industrial, Nerul, in April. He told Patil that he was a doctor, running the KCEP Healthcare Hospital at Criston Lawn at Thakur Complex at Kandivli East, and said that he could arrange for a vaccination camp at his office premises.
Tripathi took Rs 4,24,536 to provide Covishield vaccines to the employees at the company.
Senior Inspector Rajendra Awhad of Turbhe police station said, "The vaccination camp was organised at the company's premises on April 24. Doctors and nurses had been arranged to administer the fake shots to the staff."

The employees got suspicious, as none of them developed side-effects. Also, except for two people, nobody else in the company received a vaccination certificate.
