Lagos: At least 33 people, including a soldier, were killed Tuesday night in an attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen gunmen in Nigeria's Kaduna state, official said Wednesday.
The attackers also injured four soldiers in an ambush, Xinhua reported.
Vice Chairman of local government Bulus Mande confirmed the attacks, as state police spokesperson Aminu Lawan also confirmed the violence, however, saying he was yet to get the full brief of the latest incident.
In June, over 160 villagers in seven Ninzom villages in the area were killed in assaults.
