A teenaged girl was kidnapped and raped allegedly by a youth, who has been arrested, police said today.

Umesh was apprehended from a village for allegedly kidnapping the 16-year-old girl, a student of Class 12, from Bhakli village near Kosli on Friday.
After abducting her, the girl was allegedly raped repeatedly by him. She was resuced Monday. Medical examination has confirmed sexual assault.
A case of abduction, rape and under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been registered against the accused.
Umesh was produced in a Kosli court today which remanded him in 14-day judicial custody.u00a0
