The participants can expect to see Putranjiva tree, known for its medicinal qualities like healing skin aridity and phlegm.

The Fort district is also home to the star apple tree, which has a striking golden colour on the back of its leaves.

On the trail, one can find garden species like Cassava plant (above) and Hibiscus that are planted extensively across homes, and easily spotted in the city and its suburbs.

The Cannonball tree, often planted for ornamental purposes, is also found in the area.

One can also spot other plant species like Paras Bhed (above), Jarul (also known as the Pride of India) and Taman (also called the Pride of Maharashtra).
