Aksa Beach: This beach in Mumbai has been a popular filming destination for many film directors over the years. The beach located at Aksa village in Malad, is a popular weekend destination for Mumbaikars. The scenic stretch of the beach is dotted with several private cottages and hotels. Few scenes of hit Bollywood films of the 1980s such as 'Sagar' were shot here. The song 'Tujhe Aksa Beach Ghuma Doon' from the film 'God Tussi Great Ho' starring Salman Khan was shot in Aksa Beach. The beach is accessible from Malad (West) railway station and from Borivali railway station via public transport vehicles, visitors also use private transport to reach the beach. All pics/YouTube
Bandra Worli Sea Link: This location has been on the radar of many filmmakers. Mumbai's iconic Bandra Worli Sea Link has been captured in several movies and shot in a brilliant manner. The title song from the Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer OK Jaanu was shot here entirely. The sea link is also popular amongst tourists as well as locals. People who come vacationing to the city make it a point to go for a drive through this scenic stretch.
Juhu Beach: Yet another popular film shooting location in Mumbai, Juhu Beach has grabbed the attention of filmmakers and actors repeatedly. The beach area is also dotted with pubs, budget cafes, plush restaurants, and luxury hotels. Renowned Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan's bungalows Prateeksha and Jalsa are located in the vicinity. Scenes from many Bollywood movies have been shot at Juhu beach.
