World Photography Day: Attend this insightful session by author Nandita Da Cunha

Your children might be tired of hearing that they wouldn't know the importance of a clicked picture because of unending digital storage. It will never register with them, unless you tell them a story to be inspired by. Get them along for a session by city-based award-winning author Nandita da Cunha, whose recent release, Who clicked that pic? is inspired by the life of India's first woman photojournalist Homai Vyarawalla. The author travels back to the Mumbai of the 1930s, as she reads from her book, and shows how a girl named Pari goes about her day, using her photo roll sparingly and comes up with brilliantly clicked pictures!

We have all heard that a pen is mightier than a sword, and now you can sign up for this walkthrough of an ongoing exhibition Mycelial Legacies II at Jehangir Nicholson Art Foundation to see it in practice.

In this workshop, you will try to decode what the artists were thinking of or referring to, while labeling or titling their artworks. Trust art historian and heritage enthusiast Anita Yewale (right) to guide you whenever you find yourself lost for words.
