Madhubani, the heritage art form that originated in the Madhubani district of Bihar, has found more patrons with the advent of social media. It took off further during the pandemic as geographical locations weren't a concern anymore. Presented by Zwende and moderated by artist Shamli Das, an online workshop will now offer an ideal platform for those who want to accentuate their ornament cases, old wooden trunks or chapati boxes. Das says her experience in imparting the basics of the art form has been of two kinds: "It felt different and more interactive in a physical space, but once I started holding digital sessions, I realised that hundreds of people were interested." The workshop is beginner-friendly and open to anybody above 14 years of age.
