Anything can set off an idea for artistic expression, if you allow it. This is what Art in the Everyday, a curated series of eight online workshops, will address. The series will focus on different ways to approach and interact with everyday spaces and routines. "Every workshop tries to explore a unique medium of art to help build a closer relationship with your everyday life," shares Krishna Shekhawat, assistant curator at Mehrangarh Museum Trust.

The content was created keeping in mind the pandemic, to aid creatives in diversifying their art practice and offering a sustainable approach to their careers. Sessions cover design, photography, art and object conservation, food as well as emotional connections with daily life and monetising skills. "We are looking at surroundings and the self - beginning with things that are exterior and slowly going into the interior," explains Ashmi Mridul, an art consultant who will speak at one of the workshops. Other participating experts include Shaleen Wadhwana, Niharika Pareek and Tarini Kumari.
