3 hyresulation, Apparao Galleries, from TAP’s recent showcase
In September, a collective effort emerged in the art world. The Art Platform (TAP) India was launched by 14 prestigious galleries across India, including Kolkata's Emami Art, Delhi's Latitude 28, and Apparao Galleries, that works out of Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.
It became a one-stop space for art lovers to browse exhibitions, attend events, buy art, and gain insights from industry experts. This month, they've added two concepts on Instagram: TAP Studio for studio visits with artists, and TAP Tutorial for art-related tips.
"We want to now entertain a wider cross-section of people. For instance, if there talks at art spaces in Bengaluru, which Mumbaikars wish to attend, they should be able to," Sharan Apparao, founder and director, Apparao Galleries, says.
