If it's Martin Scorsese who's directing a documentary on Harrison, you know that it's going to be fabulous stuff. The filmmaker released George Harrison: Living in a Material World in 2011, intimately portraying the musician's spiritual side, and how Vedic philosophy had deeply influenced him. Scorsese also points out that while Paul McCartney and John Lennon hogged most of the limelight thanks to their pop-influenced tunes, Harrison was somewhat shortchanged because though his tunes weren't as catchy as theirs, they had their own gravitas and complex nuances.
