The Lilac Farm
Our encounters with the pandemic have made us take a hard look at most of our lifestyle choices. Many people now look forward to adopting a healthy diet and thus, are invested in sourcing the right kind of food products. The Lilac Farm is a Bengaluru-based initiative that was re-founded a year ago by a mother-daughter duo. While mother Anitha Ajith knows how to sow what, Christina looks into daily farm operations and whips up vegan wonders. In this workshop, Anitha will be answering your queries about organic farming while sharing insights on the challenges she faced.

Elaborating on the push to take the organic route, Christina says, "Our farm has existed for over a decade. We were a dairy farm with sheep and goats, but a year ago, we acquainted ourselves with organic farming. A couple of months ago, we went vegan, and since then, we have been creating awareness about the same. It was all after my health deteriorated and I learnt about the advantages of living the vegan way."
