Candies is a restaurant which represents the spirit of Bandra but it opened its first outlet in Lokhandwala, Andheri. It prepares over 300 different food items with 30 different desserts to choose from.

Candies also offers a 50 per cent discount on all food items to its customers every year on its anniversary.

Candies bakes its own bread which also includes croissants, baguettes, French loaves, buns, rolls and sliced bread which is available in brown white and multigrain varieties.

About the food, the hot cross buns made during Easter are much-awaited by everyone. The oldest item on the menu is the Chicken sandwich.

It remains a draw among the young and the not-so-young for its relaxing vibe and plenty of seating availability. Candies is a family-run business and many dishes are invented by the family themselves. The owner Allan Pereira takes a lot of effort for the look of the restaurant. The walls, seating, lights, paintings are all done by Allan himself.
