With its delish mix of curated dishes, Mumbai Indigo Deli's newly introduced Community Menu, might be a great way to bring back the joys of eating as a group

Remember those warm frames from the Italy chapter in the Julia Roberts-starrer, Eat. Pray. Love. that centred on sessions around the table? Going by the sound of it, Indigo Deli's Community Menu promises to recreate the mood.
With chilled beverages for company, try out their freshly-made pizzas
"There is a happiness that one can only get when you are sitting together at a table, with friends or family at your home compared to ordering plated food in a restaurant. You only share your food with close pals, and we wanted to bring that joy of sharing food together and bonding over a meal with the Community Meal," informs Jaydeep Mukherjee, executive chef, Indigo Deli.
Give a green start to your meal with a choice of salads
The Community Menu offers unlimited sharing of platters for a group of six to 12 for lunch (they can extend the number on request) at the cost of '899 per person (exclusive of taxes). How is it different from an unlimited buffet, we ask? "Here the food is unlimited, like a buffet, though it s served like a plated dish on your table. It's like a la carte; you don't have to worry about food that has been made and kept all day," assures Mukherjee.
The main course includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian options such as Grilled Fish
The meal begins with picking your option from the list of soups available for the day. It moves on to salads by selecting from options such as Citrus Salad, Panzanella, Grilled Vegetables and Greens and Caesar Salad. Follow your greens with indulgent pizzas such as Sundried Tomato, Olives and Capers; Mushroom and Spinach; Spanish Chorizo, and BBQ Chicken and Cheddar.

The main course will again have specials for the day, in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options that will include fish, pasta and more. Tasty beverage pitchers will help you gulp your food down. The meal ends with platters of assorted desserts served with delicious homemade ice-creams. Bon appetit!
