Edible miniatures of one of the oldest suspension bridges built in 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge, along with Paris's Eiffel Tower built four years later, have made it to Häagen Dazs's festive menu.
Being open to taste ice-creams in all shapes and sizes, we walk into the Bandra outlet for âlunch'. We order the chocolate bridge, which comes with scoops of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice-cream on a bed of brownie and is garnished with strawberries and mango sauce. It's a sinful treat.
In the mood for some classic treat, we dig into the Apple Pie served with a scoop of Dulche de Leche. Crumbly, sweet and filling, we only wish the pie was a tad warmer. The menu has also launched ice-cream cakes in flavours including Summer Symphony, Berry Chocolate Cigar, Divine Crackle and Fruit Fete. But we leave it for another day as the cake orders need 48 hours prior notice.
