Meet Apurva Thakur: The 19-year-old Mumbai girl is ready to take on the 'Universe'

Apurva Pravin Thakur, the 19 -year-old girl from Mumbai, will be representing India at Miss Teen Universe 2019 in Panama.

The annual Miss Teen Universe, the eighth edition of the beauty pageant, is for teenage girls from across the globe. The pageant aims at testing the contestants on different parameters of physical beauty, talent, personality, talent and intelligence.

In December last year, this Mumbai beauty won the title of Miss Teen India Universe 2019 in Noida Film City and now embarks her journey to win the title in Panama. 

Apurva Thakur is from Mumbai and is currently pursuing her degree in Architecture from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

This year’s pageant will see contestants from 28 different countries like USA, Argentina, India, Colombia and Mexico etc and Apurva will be representing India. 

Srishti Kaur was the first ever Indian-Asian winner of Teen Universe pageant in 2017 held in the Ruben Dario National Theatre in Managua, Nicaragua. 

A team of experts has been working worked hard to groom the teenage beauty Apurva from Mumbai so that she can bring the crown home.

Apurva shared this picture on Instagram from her times spent at Philadelphia University.

The 19-year-old pageant queen captions this picture as, 'In order to be irreplaceable one has to be different.'
